That mother, loving and courageous, fought to be with her daughter with the might and determination of a mother bear fighting for her cub. Working hard at home, she succeeded in staying at her daughter's side until her daughter died before the age of 5. This courageous parent still inspires us to do all we can to help families who -- for what ever reason -- want to have more time together.
